Felisha Storm

Storm was a lobbyist for out of state billionaires trying to gut protections for pre-existing conditions and push the largest Medicaid cut in history – raising healthcare costs, closing local hospitals, and putting three hundred thousand Virginians at risk of losing their health insurance. If Storm had her way, health care would be more expensive and less available for thousands of folks here in Hampton Roads.

As a politician in Vermont,  Storm voted against common sense background checks to keep firearms out of the hands of domestic abusers and stalkers, and she supported making it easier for violent criminals to bring guns into hospitals. If Storm did that here, we'd all be less safe.

Felisha Storm has a history of opposing abortion rights, giving politicians control over a woman’s private medical decisions. Her backers now want to ban abortion even in the case of rape or incest. If Storm's supporters take over, they've promised to restrict access to birth control and jail doctors and women for accessing life-saving care. 

While our local schools struggled with teacher shortages, Felisha Storm lobbied for billionaires trying to defund public schools, send tax dollars to unaccountable private and religious schools, and even shut down the Department of Education, eliminating more school funding.

While everyday costs skyrocket, Felisha Storm is against raising the minimum wage while her backers in Richmond are allowing insurance and drug companies to rip people off and raise the cost of life saving medications, and are letting big corporations add hidden fees.
